A selection of my artworks from the "Complexity Series". All original, individually titled, and signed by Stanza. All on paper size 100 by 100cm. These where exhibited at TSSK Norway 2014 as part of my solo show titled A Life In The Emergent City. These artworks all have in common that they depict cities from around the world as constructed layers of data, and mixed information. They juxtapose these data layers which are embedded in the city and reinvestigate the designed landscape that is shaped and built by human edeavour onto the canvas that is the surface of the earth. These artworks are all based on real cities. If you looked closely you can see New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Chicago all mixed together to form hybrid imaginary cities.
