EXHIBITION There are 24 artworks in the series built into a unique software system. They are available as a touch screen edition for exhibition and sale.

Inspired by the idea of the city being a coded entity. These paintings map out city emergent city spaces. Each one in the series has different behaviours which change the sounds over time or generate and evolve new images, ie shapes and colours. The city experience is a web of connected networks and multi layered threaded paths that condition us to the emotional state of the city space. In essence, the city fabric is a giant multi user multi data sphere. The patterns we make, the forces we weave, are all being networked into retrievable data structures that can be re-imagined and sourced for information. These patterns all disclose new ways of seeing the world.

EXHIBITION

The work can exhibited by projecting images large in galleries or onto building. The work can also be shown on the touch screen as they were at Tate Britain and also Venice Biennale in 2007.

Stanza is an internationally recognised artist, who has been exhibiting worldwide since 1984. His artworks have won prestigious painting prizes and ten first prize art awards including:- Vidalife 6.0 First Prize. SeNef Grand Prix. Videobrasil First Prize. Stanza is a London based British artist who specializes in net art, data sculptures, and networked space. Work has been shown at The Venice Biennale, Tate Britain, The Victoria and Albert Museum. Recipient of Nesta Dreatime Award, AHRC creative fellowship and numerous prizes. His award winning online projects have been invited for exhibition around the world. Stanza also travels extensively to exhibit and present his artworks, lecturing and giving performances of his audiovisual interactions.

Biocity was exhibited in Holland in show called "No - Land" curated by Patricia de Ruijter which was shown in Art City in the NDSM. {9th October2007; for one month.} This work is available for exhibition email me to book this installation.
